OK, you SHTF scroungers, you scrounge 2,000 rounds of the "Wrong" ammo. Now what.......? Useless, Not if you had extra barrels for your firearm in several different cartridge conversions. I am still reflecting on which model I want to order extra barrels for, but it appears if I order M-24 barrels they will work on the M24 & M-35 & M22 (Do your own research).

For me it will take some time to sort out, as they offer extended barrels, ported barrels, threaded barrels (for sound or flash suppressors). My current thought is convert the M24C to .357 Sig unported, and also have the threaded unported 9MM barrel, plus the original .40 S&W barrel. One pistol using three cartridges.

Most barrels run about $79.00 to $149.00 for ported and threaded barrels.

There are many different barrel manufactures........Two you could start with: www.lonewolfdist.com or www.handgundirect.com

NO, not yet, but this barrel order is going to take time to sort out. You can convert to a smaller dia. (like .9MM from a .40 S&W) but not 9MM up to 40S&W. Because I am a Commercial pilot I can buy Glocks at the Cop Price, so I may need a .10MM for Christmas.

Some of my fist purchases were based on that premis. A TC, TCR (.223 amd .308)and an H&K HK-4 (.22lr,.25acp,.32acpand.380), Then my .40 Beretta, I purchased a .357Sig barrel for it. The Beretta 96 will convert to 9mm simply by changing the barrel and magazine.

That's also why I started fooling around with the NEF/HR's Single shots.
My 1st Handi Rifle has 10 different barrels.
Your thinking is sound, and it's nice to have a convertable firearm.

Hmmm...I don't have any of those fancy new plastic guns.

Does a couple of ol' CZ-52's with 7.62 and 9mm barrels count?:tongue_smilie:
(You can still get 7.62x25, pretty cheap.)

you could also get a .22 Reed Express barrel as well. That is a 7.62x25 necked down to .22 caliber, the velocities are equal or better than the P-90s 5.7 round.

I have an XD40 and have a 9mm Firedragon barrel for it. Works very well, and I can use the .40 mags with no problem.
