Good job, Rick.
BTW...did anyone else notice, that doug "tooted"???:blushing:
Thanks, Gang! :)
2dumb, I want you to stay ahead of me. That way, I don't need to watch my back as often........... :sneaky2:
Rick! That is a great cake! Did you bake it yourself? :innocent:
And I ain't an old fart -- yet. :sneaky2: But there may be some fartin' goin' on after a little casual dining later on!

After 26 years as one of Rhode Island's most popular restaurants with locals and tourists alike, the Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant has earned landmark status. Located at 140 Thames Street, across from the Brick Market Place, the Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant offers a warm and cozy fireplace in winter, and comfortably air-conditioned dining rooms or tree-shaded courtyard in summer.
Sounds kinda snooty........ya think they'll mind all of us camping in the courtyard?:innocent: LOL

Uhhhh, 2dumb? What part of "a little casual dining" did you miss? :sneaky2:
The Brick Alley Pub "courtyard' is set up with picnic tables. It's only a two hour wait to get in there in the summer. Give your name, take a walk down Thames Street, and return to some really great food and the best bartenders around. I'm just P.O.'d that the Short Ribs of Beef ain't on the menu any more. :sneaky2:

Oh.....this..Choose a wine from our extensive wine list, which features over 250 different vintages, just didn't scream "Dumb redneck friendly". LOL :innocent:
If the wine list goes past Boones farm and Madd dog....I get nervous.:blushing:

Now here's a fancy seafood dinner!:innocent:
2dumb. Hotdogs were only meant to be eaten with coney island sauce and cheese, or sauerkraut, or with a plate of beans. No fake squid or octopus dogs with Zatarain's, got it? :sneaky2:
Now if you want REAL octopus, try this: http://lh4.ggpht.com/_nCADXvmIM5o/SNXEpXgNz2I/AAAAAAAAGIs/5Xj6VroScS0/DSC_0425.JPG
And 2dumb? Don't let the wine list scare you. They have a huge selection of draft and bottled beers.
And remember: That guy eating a table away from you? His yacht - the one in the harbor - probably ain't worth a penny over $25 Million. :innocent:
Now if you want fancy Newport dining, I suggest http://www.spicedpear.com/
