I have a mouse problem in my garage. So I set out several mouse traps baited with extra crunchy peanut butter. I watch in amazement as the little buggers would come up from behind the trap and eat the bait without setting off the trap. I switched to a different type of trap. When I would check the traps in the morning the bait would be gone.

Today I decided to try a new tactic. I got out the nice new high powered air rifle and a chair and set down a waited for the vermin to show them selves.

I am happy to report that I took five of the little monsters with five shots. All head shots.

YES!!! I am the man and I have protected my castle. **WOO HOO**

The air rifle sounds cool, but check out those sticky traps. Just put the bait right in the middle, set up about 5 or so, go to bed & check 'em in the am. I've gotten two or three to a sheet before! :cool2:

Have you thought about a yankee lawyer skin?:innocent:

It puts the lotion on the skin or it gets the hose again.

I had the same problem once. I used .22 rat shot from a Ruger revolver at short range. It worked really good until I hit my wife's golf club bag. What a mistake. The wife wasn't too happy with me. She eventually got over it and thankfully I'm still alive to tell the story. I am no longer "allowed" on any more mouse safari. I gotta use traps now :). Stay safe.

I shot a sparrow with a 300 weatherby magnum once. All I could find was the legs and a puff of feathers. haha.

I like the rodents I eat to be just a tad larger. Now if my Bandit was still alive he would have made a quick snack of them.
