A buddy and I use to bike around the island on the three day weekends. We would start at Butler and head north, wow, the Pacific side of the island had serious mountains. We would get the locals with the little pick up trucks to take us up the mountains.

We would just camp on the many beaches. Again, a poncho and liner was very valuable.

I did not want to leave the island, my extension did not go through.

Where is the SERE school being taught nowdays? Back in my day it was up in the
San Bernadino mountains. Went up and ate at the chow hall a few times. Tried to get into the school, but was never picked.

Welcome to the Wolf-Pack. You ever get any extra copies of the Military S.E.R.E. Manual you don't know what to do with, just let me know, I'm looking for one.;)
