Well last week I went to the dentist to get my annual check-up and my very first cleaning. Yes that's right my first cleaning in my whole life (29 years) I have chewed snuff since I was 14 and have never had any problems with my teeth. My wisdome teeth never came in, no cavities and never had them cleaned. Well they found 3 small cavities last week so I had them filled. And let me tell you I hate it when they numbed my mouth. I had to get a "deep" clean which was split into 3 visits. Had my second one today and it sucked. Apparently I have some slight bone loss where I keep my chew and I have the start of gum disease. Still not bad for going 29 years, I think. I finally understand why the Military is so hell bent about oral hygeine now.

Last time I went to the dentist, I had a broken tooth pulled and got blood poisoning, haven't been since(20years ago:blushing:)

Absolutely, still won't go to dentist though, always practised good hygene and it's paid dividends. Approaching the half century and still no cavities, one tooth missing as above after breaking it in a fall from the bike.:)

LOL, Sad to say my age reads more like a cricket score these days, although I still act my shoe size:blushing:
(Americans just stare and blink). A cricket score to us is a musical number with Jiminy Cricket.
