Here's an interesting animation from the NOAA Center for Tsunami Research. The wave propagation covered virtually the entire Pacific Ocean.

My wife has been working 14 hour days since the tsunami hit. The Base has been sending medical supplies, tents and even personnel to help over there. Of course, any of you that know how the Military really works will know that for about 11 of those hours she just sits around waiting for the "higher ups' to make a decision. "Send this....no wait ok send this but take that part out.....no wait send this and that but don't send that....no no ok tear down all those aircraft pallets that you just made and repack them with only these items....no that ain't right either"....and so on and so on.
