I like parkour, now thats a real mans sport. those people are hard core. I haven't done much of it yet because of a back injury but it looks pretty cool.
Also kayaking, hiking, climbing. sports like that. they are the best and all of the above build skills you might could use in a survival situation.

I play softball every summer for the hospital I work at... I hunt, fish, hike, I have been rock climbing (when I lived in the south) Play flag football every fall (another hospital team) and I don't know if it is a sport but I am a poker nut I play atleast once a week and once a month I play a nice higher stakes game ($60 or more buy in).

I don't watch sports on TV like baseball or football. My indoor sport is Chess; my outdoor sport is camping, hunting, and fly-fishing.

i do parkour, been doing it for 3 years now, i train in toronto and surrounding area. we have one of the largest parkour communities in canada, and north america for that matter. if you'd like to check out the PKTO (Parkour Through out Ontario and/or Parkour Toronto) community, www.pkto.ca

and when parkour training slows down in the winter (cause training becomes a bit more dangerous with snow and ice) i play ice hockey.
oh, and golf too, i really like golf.

I thought it was Justin on one of his spring cleaning moments, but I think there's some point proving going on here.

The only spectator sport that I enjoy watching is Hockey. Now that's a real man's sport. Grown men don't play with balls. ;)

I used to compete in motocross and orienteering (now made almost obsolete by GPS.) If you consider chess a sport, which I don't, I was a rated player in HS - we won state.
I've also competed on several military rifle teams and I'm an archer, though I've never competed in target archery, so I guess I can't claim that one. Long distance, the next best thing to being there.

My uncle was considered a "sportsman," yet all he ever did was hunt and fish. He was very proficient though, taking Africas Big 5 (before such feats fell out of vogue). I guess you could say he competed with the animals and won. As a chiild, I remember his den was a scary place to visit. ;)

Is drinking beer a sport ?

canid
03-27-2011, 09:47 AM
Yes, yes it is. I can further assure you I'm no bush league player in that particular field.

Chip: I'm not much for spectator sports either. It's a lot more fun to do than watch.
