New Survival TV show (UK)

There's a new show on channel 4 called Alone in the Wild. It's what it says on the tin, 1 man, his gear, a camera, and the Canadian wilderness for three months.

Not sure if that link will work outside the UK. It's only one episode one so far. The guy doing it doesn't have a huge amount of survival knowledge as far as I know, it's said he's climbed Everest but he's not tried anything like this before.

His only link to the outside world is a little tracking system with a "OK" "Not OK" buttons on it.

It seems pretty good so far, anyone else watching it?

Ah, thanks, couldn't see a thread already, knowing the ending doesn't bother me too much, still interesting to watch!
