Mystery from outer space-open minds only

I was watching the NBC news last night, and it was reported that a mystery fire ball was seen by astronomers.

As it turns out, it was frozen liquid waste dumped from the space shuttle, before returning to earth, or one might say a flying poopsicle.

Got me thinking, yeah I know, thinking always gets me into trouble.
Watching the Discovery Channel, it is a theory that comets carried frozen water, and building blocks for life forms to earth to evolve.
Yeah, I know that a lot of people will disagree about the origin of life, so don't get on me, I'm just relaying someones theory.

So, possibly comets were the poopsicle from another world?
If so, how big would the mother-ship be?
Maybe we should shut down the SETA broadcasts?

you can google "Tagish Lake meteorite" for one that's yielding interesting info.

I don't really care where life originally came from, what concerns me is the extinction of so much life on Earth thanks to our species.
I find it funny to think that whenever humans become extinct, eventually the only physical things that'll be left over as our legacy will be all that space junk circling the planet.
