After reading so much about RAT Cutlery and their knives over the past few months I decided to purchase my first RAT. I got an OD Izula two weeks ago.

Soon as I received the Izula and took it out of the plastic I knew I was in love. I was completely helpless to the call. I immediately had to wrap it like I have seen others do. And after I wrapped the Izula I had to wrap the sheath as well! For the past two weeks I have worn this baby everywhere and every way I could think. I have had it around my neck, in my pockets, on my belt, and even in my EDC bag.

I thought so much of the Izula I had to purchase a RC-4! I got my RC-4 a few days ago, and tonight after work I am going to put both through their paces.

Pictures sure to follow!

I was looking for an Izula at a gun show - no joy. Ended up with a Becker Necker (BK-11). Love it. I'll probably pick up an Izula when I run across one that I can haggle over. The only RAT I've got is the RC-5 - no complaints at all.

And here is the pile of wood after batoning:

Some of it in a tepee:

And how the Orange Paracord is a lifesaver:

And yes I know it's not some of the cleanest batoning done, but I tried.

Nice looking knives. I like the orange scales and wrap. You won't be losing those when you set them down.

Very nice. I owned both but sold them to purchase a drill press and a grinder. They are both awesome knives and I really regret selling them Tough as heck.

Awesome knife! I can see you have a few character marks as well. :) My fiance wants an Izula, she thinks they are so cute. So I am looking at getting her a tactical pink Izula. She also wants a better blade for backpacking so I am thinking about getting her a RC-3.

Hopefully after she gets those I can talk her into letting me get a RC-6 or save up for RC-10!

Haha nice! I thought about getting the Little Bird as well, but didn't know how it would handle the beating I would put it through.

Thanks I really liked it myself uses lil more cord then the standard wrap so I have more in case of emergency, of course my boot laces are 550 too and I wrap most my knives and tools just to have plenty when needed.
