anyone have any advice about growing potatoes in the wild..or links
what could u use as a pestacide ie.weed killer and or bug and other vermen that u can find in the wild?
It works there are things you can do to the soil like composting your patch but then let nature take its post . Insecticides also kill and run of benifical insects like the pollinators.Even in short growing seasons things like potatos, carrots parsnips , rubarb do well if you are where it gets evil cold the hard part is storage. I have read several boks from northwoods guys that have raised nice guardens even flowers. Then only isue you might run into is about introducing a non native species into the wild.

why would you use chemicals? it would only destroy the wild edibles close by if you want chemicals go buy the tators at the store.
always be prepared...
