I just got a new to me, Grizzly 600 to replace my Manco 260 ATV.

Friday and Saturday, I played Hooky and went sight seeing.

I talked Zeus (My Great Dane) into going and loaded the 600 up.

The Mayweed was blooming like crazy.

I pulled some pictures of Ms Bar and the chilluns on the way

After dark, I had a full moon to see by

And about daybreak, went back to the cabin and had to explain to Ms Nap, where I'd been

Great trip and I love the Grizzley.

That's great! Looks like you had some fun the last few days. Did Zeus have a good time?

That one is a Canon 40D and I used a Sigma wide angle 50-250 lens for the daytime picture and a Canon nifty 50 f1.8 for the night and dawn picture. The bear picture is from an HCO that I modified a little.

Zeus has to hoof it. He takes up too much room.

How many miles did you cover?

I need to get my quad tuned up and ready for fall/winter trips now that it's cooling down :)

I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but zeus makes you look like a little boy with a beard. haha. He's huge!

When I met my wife I was a ski instructor. She said then that I was an overgrown 14 year old. According to her, that hasn't changed in the thirty odd years we've been married....so I guess I am a little boy with a beard.:innocent:

He is a big boy though...Great Danes grow for two years and he just turned one. He has about 40 pounds to go.

Mountain Man, I stayed mostly on our farms and I doubt I went more than ten or twelve miles total. It was a lot of fun just going from one place to another on it.

Sounds like fun! I wish I had that much land to cover that many miles!!

My dog loves to follow the quad, and in the dry months I try to get him out front so I don't cover him in dust! Round trip we only go a little more than a mile here.. he runs about 1.5 to 2 miles a day though, keeps him out of trouble and forces me to do perimeter checks.

Great looking dog and country. I like my Rincon because of independent suspension and the joints don't creak so loud. My beagle sniffs the Honda, throws his leg up on it and goes somewhere to sleep. I am fortunate to ride as far as I want, usually 50 miles or so and checking out old homesteads with a metal detector plus all my other breaks makes us about a 12hr ride. Still fun after all these years. Your doggie can always tow you in just in case.
