not sure what to call this area, other than the best for training real skills:clap: so how about a northern gathering, fall, winter? or even into next spring or summer, would prefer to have in ontario either up here at my place or in the kilarney park or algonquin park area
any takers?

I thnk Michigan's Upper Pennisula is the best place to practice northern forest survival skills. Even in the wildest areas you're never farther than 12 miles from a road in any cardinal direction.

well i see whats going on here. all the other regions have lots of replies, leads me to beleive that us canaadians up here are so vastly superior in our skills that we do not need to get togther to share them:sneaky2::innocent:

The Michigan, Ohio & Pennsylvania jamboree is all being arranged by PM. Ontario?

I don't recall ever seeing this thread, but I would love to get together and possibly learn something. Can't say I'd have a great deal to offer, but have car and am willing to travel.

I'm in southeast Michigan and anything within 6-8 hour drive I can do on a weekend or anytime from May to September of next year.
