i never heard of a b25 with four motors ,they were the ones used on the dolitle raid on tokyo as a reply to the pearl harbour attack,they took off from uss enterprise and uss hornet ,whos decks were just about big enough for the twin engined b25 mitchell,no four engined plane has ever taken off from a carrier to date well not a piston engined one anyway. iwish these kids would get thier facts right as it just stirs up a hornets nest

We would sometimes do low approaches to the carrier in the P-3 but that thing looks like a postage stamp when you're something as big as a P-3. I thought I remembered sometime (25 or 30 years) back that a C-130 with RATO was launched from the deck of a carrier. Just to see if it could be done.

WOW wonder who thought up the idea of trying to launch a BUF of the deck of a carrier?
