Wow, I just got a new 780 Craftsman. The 780 is the carbon laminate one and its considerably thicker and heavier than my regular carbon 740. It has a more robust feel with the added heft and I like it a lot better. It came razor sharp and has a needle sharp point. I did a stick test on my knuckle to test the point and drew blood. By the time I felt the pressure it had already cut the skin. It was just a little pin prick so no biggie. Overall I'm very impressed. I used Pict's idea of putting a short section of bicycle tube (ten speed) over the handle. The tubing gave better grip but the feel still wasn't what I wanted; the rubber was a little too slick so I took some sandpaper and roughed it up. That did the trick. The grip has an awsome feel to it now and you can really get some good torque if you bare down on something. I sliced a whittleing stick in two with ease. This knife is dangerously sharp, I'm going to have to be carefull with it.

I have only recently purchased a couple of Mora's. I love em. For the money they are definitely a value priced tool.

I just picked up 2 840s and really like them. There is no uncomfortable way to hold it. The very shallow grind angle takes some getting used to when you're as used to a flat grind and a 24-26 degree sharpening angle. The learning curve is not terrible though. I concurr 100% that for the money you can't beat them
