Hey all. Just wondering if anybody does any trap/skeet/sport shooting? I tried it this sunday. First time really shooting a shotgun (shot one before, but just one shot at a paper target) and guess what? I got first place! My first hundred shooting handicap (20 yards) i shot 56 out of 100. In my second hundred, i shot singles (16 yards) and got 73 out of 100. Not bad for a newbie. I would encourage you to try it, because its fun, and would keep you practiced up for quail/dove season. :D

Congrats.....
Like with anything practice, practice, practice.
Any thing you can do to familiarize your self with firearms, (or any tool/process, for that matter) will pay dividends in the future.
Yes, it is fun as well.................

Please forward his name and address. That's one place I don't need to rob.

I had a guy that worked for me in Illinois that was ranked third in the nation. Pretty impressive.

Nothin like shouting pull and seeing that colored disk fly out only to see it smash at the end of the bead.

....or to float harmlessly and gently to the ground without even a scratch on it. Just sayin.

Wait. You don't shoot them while they're on the stand? I thought that was way too easy. Probably why that guy helped me load my stuff in the truck, too.
