Is camping in a park the same as living off the land? Here's the setting.
Alone for two weeks (14 days) in the wilds of...
Minnesota forests up around Otter Trail...
June mid-month...
What do you take?

I just wanna see the differences in what people take.
I would take:
My knife
Leatherman
50ft. Para Cord
Hatchet
Two qt. Canteen (filled)
Couple bags of jerked meat and trail mix
Flint and Knapper (4 pices)
Shelter Half (Military)
Clothes (of course) some cargo kahki's and fatigues (3), earth tone Ts with long wollies top (3). Socks (2) Balmoral (hat)
My footskins Moc's
Compass & pace counting beads
15ft. of fishing line and hook (although i'm not big on fish)
Plastic Bag (Trash Bag)
Back Pack
Hiking Staff
My Journal

I believe, now this is me, that it's all camping until there is an accident or unforseen circumstances.

Now how you are prepared for the unforseen circumstances or the accident and what you do, is survival.

Didn't I start a thread on this before?

Beowulf65 I call it survival camping you might like fish by the time you get home though.
Your gear list looks pretty good to me
For me I would ad a shelter tarp and some carbs( bag of rice maybe) sometimes foraging doesn't work out well, and a metal can a big coffe can works for me.
