Raspberries are Ripe!!

My first year raspberries are finally ripening. The bushes are loaded and I picked the first handful yesterday. Yummy stuff!!

Growing up we had a good sized patch of raspberries in the back yard. We loved the jam, but somehow or other they usually didn't last quite long enough to be canned.

My raspberries are just ripening their second crop! So more for canning.
