Some people have asked about small storage boxes for mini-survival-kit's. I saw this setup and liked it. The otter boxes are not too expensive, they're durable and waterproof.

Otter Box - 1000 ($10.34)
External Dimensions: 4.837 x 3.682 x 1.652 inches
Internal Dimensions: 3.700 x 2.350 x 1.000 inches

Otter Box - 2000 (16.16)
External Dimensions: 6.855 x 4.571 x 1.829 inches
Internal Dimensions: 5.757 x 3.140 x 0.979 inches

The leather Box Holster costs $25.95

This type of holster would be easy enough to make out of leather or nylon strapping if you didn't buy one.

Here's where I found them:

Yeah, I've Got A Few Of These. If You Need To Protect Something From Impact And Water Nothing Beats Otter Boxes. Although, If Your Not Too Shiny In The Brains Department And Put A Lock On One, Then Lose Key For Said Lock........ They Are Rather Annoying To Break Into......:smash::smash::smash: Not That I Would Know :innocent::innocent:

Otter Boxes are very good and a lot less expensive than Pelican. Some other good choices are Underwater Kinetics and Witz. Witz makes a product called Surfsafe and also Keep-It-Safe. Just some other options.

A protective waterproof box is an absolute necessity and any mentioned are fine. I don't keep one on my person but stocked with what I consider necessary items I wish to protect on my ATV, in vehicles. Good idea that most of us normally use but hasn't been mentioned before. I guess sometimes I take items like that for granted and wrongly assume everyone knows about them. Glad you mentioned an item necessary yet simple.
