Man I wish this was profitable so I could do it for a living. Being in my shop sure beats sitting in an office any day. Even if it is cold and five below 110 degrees. :tongue_smilie: Got this guy done. A buddy gave me some spaulted maple and man I think its pretty.

Man That is AWESOME!!!as if he didn't know a knife fool would jump at a post about a knife It Really looks good, and I don't want to hear about "percieved" flaws either. Just soak up my admiration for your TALENT!!! Maybe you and Crash should go into business?
That is one great camp knife. The wood looks like flames jumping. That is one of the best yet. I really...REALLY....like it.

Very well done. I used that drop-point style for most of the my Professional Hunting career for cape removal and field dressing game. Most had 3 3/4" to 4 1/4" blades. My go to knife now is just like that one, but with a deep belly. What would that quality knife sell for where you live.....? Here that knife would sell for $185.00 to $215.00 but it is a labor of love for the knife maker, as they end up netting $5.00 per hour. So I tip my hat, and give huge thanks to all knife makers, for the gifts they give the world. Will done, nice USEFUL art.

Sure - just send your picture to Rick. We'll let you know who the lucky camper is that gets to take your picture home.

That is a sweet blade anyone would be proud to own much less when you make one yourself, mine always seem to turn out to be a possum skinner everytime! I love drop points and never tire of checking out top shelf fix-blades.
One question is this, If for some crazy reason you decided to sell -say that particular blade, what kind of dollar value would YOU place on your own workmanship for said gutter?

Read posts 15 and 18.
Stop! Hold it right there! Do not go one keystroke further. I have been first in line on every one of these knives. (spits in both hands). There will be snot slingin' and eye gougin' before I let this one get past me.

It was a typo. Coot made a typographical error. And he mispoke as well. (He does live kinda' close to D.C. - maybe it's contageous.) :innocent:
However, this talk about "one million dollars" has a ring of "extortion" or "blackmail" to it. :sneaky2:

One word: WOW! Panch0, you truly are an artist. That is one of the most gorgeous knives I've ever seen! If you ever feel the need to, say, mail one to Oklahoma, just let me know! :thumbup1: Congratulations on having that kind and amount of talent!!
