My very first foray into sprouts!

Went to the health food store today and got a jar lid and a mix of seeds to try. I love sprouts but I have never done them myself, plus the ones they sell at walmart of kinda yucky usually.

Anyone else here into sprouts? Tips for a first-timer?

too expensive IMO. You can make them yourself and save some money, but it is still a fairly expensive food.

Yes they are a bit expensive, but a box of cookies or a bag of chips is way overpriced these days too. So since I'm cutting that kind of stuff out for the most part...

You are right though, it is way too expensive to buy healthy food these days.

Well you could buy fully grown fresh vegetables for significantly less than sprouts.
