I got this from my wifes uncle, its a J.C higgins model 20 12 gauge.
When I got it it was ruff, lot of surface rust and nasty dirty, is also missing the forend. and had a messed up bubba cut job on the barrel.
Well after a week of work and some spray from brownels here is what she looks like. Not bad for a 40 bollar investment.

Guns like that seem to mean more to us, than brand new, store bought ones. Good job!

A little bit of elbow grease and you have yourself a handy and reliable shotgun. Nice work.

Good buy. The ones I use won't win a beauty contest but if I took some out and scratched a stock, guess I would cry. I have guns I carry, guns to drool over, and those seldom leave the house. Same with knives.

squaring the barrel wasnt too bad, I was able to use my chop saw to square it up then files and sand paper to finish it off, Nope not going to chock it.
