The need to get started

I got my moms edible and medical plants info and man she has alot more than I thought.

My biggest problem is to use local common names to common names and scientific names.

any suggestions on how to get slide projector pic. to a comp. disc?

A lot of the photo processing places transfer film/video/hard copies to disk. You may want to call one in your area. Scanning photos works, but I would think slides might not work as well.

The HP Photoscan 5370C comes with a 35mm slide scanner. I happen to have one that's why I know they come with one. The 5370 is several years old but there are a lot of 35mm scanners on the market. That's the only way I know of.

Costco also sell a small unit that is designed to scan 35mm negatives and slides. I think it is around $100.00.
