I got a great deal on a whole bunch of Stansport emergency/slow burn candles. These are the 5 inch size that last 5 hours. Regardless of what Stansport's website says, they don't sell a lantern for these candles. And I haven't been able to find a suitable alternative (maybe my "deal" wasn't that good?) The best I can find are the UCO Candle Lanterns which aren't cheap, especially if you want several. All suggestions are appreciated.

Wal Mart (at least the ones around me) sells the lanterns for this type candle (plus candles).

Thanks, I looked there, but I'll look again. The problem is, everything I've seen has a candle-holder-base that the diameter is sized for tealights and these are significant;y smaller.

I just looked at their web site and didn't see it (doesn't mean it'snot there). I bought mine from the brick and mortar store - camping section - red in color - about $14 - additional candles (3-packs of regular and citronella) about $2.

Cody Lundin suggests making your own, by simply putting dirt/sand/gravel inside any glass jar or similar to anchor the candle and allow 360 flame light. If you need to hang the jar, use wire or rope. (And his whole book cost less than one Uco :-)
Look and see what model your candles are. Probably model number 231 or 232. If so, look for their models 133 or 230 lantern. I think both fit the the long burners (231 and 232 candles). You are looking at $10 for either model lantern.
