Just wanted to share....
http://www.nal.usda.gov/ref/USDApubs/hgb.htm
list of USDA publications online. Might be of benefit.

A few listings:
Beekeeping for beginners.
Drying food at home.
Growing Bonsai.
Home canning.

It is a little tough to negotiate. But, I'm computer illiterate.

Lots of stuff regarding food (Ken, Rick, Crash....):blushing:

Rick, you are a mind reader. Been trying to think of that site for a while now. Somewhere in a box is a notebook full of pubs from them.

No, he's not. He has your house bugged. Audio and video. When's the last time you really looked around in your bathroom?

Rick

I DID have. Then he went into the bathroom. I smashed the monitor after that.

I couldn't eat for like 12 minutes after I saw him. It was bad.

Nice sites. Folks don't realize all the information their local extension service has available. You should take some time and read through what they offer. Everything from testing your soil to helping you identify what plant problem you are dealing with. Good stuff!!!!!
