Our 19 yr. Old Arabian Mare - Magic

Some of you know I keep horses. Yesterday our mare arabian simply ate feed to fast and next thing you know she was on the ground. We kept her on her feet until my wife got home at about 2 pm today. Magic wasn't improving and she called the Vet. to the house. It was quite an ordeal by the time I got home she was on the ground with IV's in her. I was immediately insistant she got up on her feet. Well a few minutes later she was. Turns out a couple of pounds of feed had impacted in her digestive system you know we had to put hosing up her nose 3 or 4 times. God was watching and she is in the pasture now recovering beautifully!!

That type of event can be scarey. Dern animals are like members of the family. Glad it's all okay now. :)

The mare is 19 she is part of the family! She is doing fine now. Amazing the difference between life and death is so thin.
