We've had discussions about bugout vehicles before. The discussions ranged from horseback to motorhomes, from bicycles to barges. The list goes on and on. Well, if you have the $$$ you too can have one of these built. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1192640/Admiral-Abramovich-launches-300million-mega-yachtski-The-worlds-biggest-submarine.html

I've got a hunch that the missile defense system is not the only weapons related system onboard.
Yeah, what good would knowing a missile is inbound if you have no way to defend yourself? I can't imagine there isn't more to that story than is being told.
That's the barge Hopeak keeps talking about isn't it?

If it is, I'll have to go back and re-read his posts on how arduous life can be in the bush of Alaska. Maybe it's just a ploy to keep the rif raf away.

A disgusting display of excess!!! Having made that obligatory remark, I do like what he has done. Just think of the jobs he paid for :) I think one could bug out in style with that boat. I guess I better wait until payday to make my down payment on one

Unless you're the guy whose job it is to knock down the missiles with a baseball bat!!!!!!

I was never much of a naval guy. Sure it's nice, I wouldn't turn it down, but for that price I would buy an island chain and three or four boats to cruise between them.

Or like the Japaneses police, an oversize tennis racket to block thrown objects from a crowd:cool2: I guess Hope is right, if ya can't get a date with this thing, nothing would work :)
That last picture is just great. Can you imagine being the captain of a naval war ship? Large by anyone's standards. You stand on the bridge and survey all you are master of and you are rightfully proud of your ship. Then this guy docks his toy next to you and just dwarfs your ship. What are you gonna do?
Captain looking up out of bridge. "D***!"
Gee. All I want is that dinky 85' yacht for sale at the marina down the road. Probably less than $1,000,000.00. :blushing: Time to cash in my loose change jar. I add about $1.50 a day to it. I should have enough by....... May 15, 3835!
