MRE Depot has notified me that they now have canned green coffee and canned tea bags for long term storage. Pretty good prices on both, too. They also have canned cheese and canned ghee in. They've been out of the cheese for quite a while. Currently, they are having a 15% off sale if you enter the discount code GHEE. The sale is good through midnight, Sunday July 14 or while supplies last. The sale is not valid through their eBay store.

I just thought I'd pass it along. I picked up some stuff this morning.

Ghee = very expensive butter at my store (Meijer). But you don't have to refrigerate it.

Are you guys still eating MREs? Really with mountain house out there MREs are something I never buy anymore.

Mountain house can be had cheap @ Wal-Mart too even or from them direct if you get them on sale. Great deal, last a LONG time too, and taste WAY better.

I've never seen a full course Mountain House meal. Besides, I love those chocolate dairy shakes....... :tongue_smilie:

I guess I haven't seen them all packaged as a full course in one but they do have sides, etc.
