i used to live right there in maggie valley, the blue ridge parkway runs through there on the edge of the cherokee indian reservation. you can see clingmans dome from cattaloochee. cool pics!

Last time we visited the area the dome was closed due to snow. We sat staring at the roadblock and had to make other plans for the day. Im glad of it too with my limited experience driving in snow and zero with snow and inclines.

Hung out at the Back Door when I was living in Maggie Valley.
Cought some very nice trout behind the post office.
