D-Day paratrooper David Bullington, 88, of Dyesburg, Tenn., ........ said ........ “I don’t like to see someone claiming to be a paratrooper to grab a little bit of glory for doing what real paratroopers did in Ste. Mere-Eglise. It’s a slap in the face.”

To those of you who have served, past and present, once again you have my most sincere "Thank You!"

You know, it doesn't matter to me if you jumped into D-Day or came ashore in an LVP. He was in Normandy, and he has my respect and thanks. Why, then, does he need to make it a "better" story. It only makes me think less of him.
