Getting ready to bug out

a thunder storm just passed through about an hour ago. we could see the lightning hitting the ground. it looks like the lightning hit the hills right behind my house and started a fire. got helicopters and planes making drops.

as soon as i saw the smoke i went inside and got my water, food, and bug out bag. they are all waiting at the door, just incase we get evacuated. probably wont, but doesnt hurt to be ready.

Absolutely Tonestar. As Ken said, take care and be careful. I'm sure you know this, but for those that may be new to the threats of having to leave suddenly - make sure you take important papers, phone numbers, etc.

thanks guys for the prayers and concerns. it looks like it is all under control thanks to all the fire fighters and any other departments that were involved. and thank God that he brought rain cause it couldve been a different story. thanks again guys!
