finally had some for dinner last night, now i've got to admit i cannot stand store bought asperagus, but the wild stuff was fantastic, now i see why euell gibbons went so crazy over it
also big bonus was that i met another german lady only in her 50's that lives off the land here, just trying to find the time to get out with her, thats 4 people up here that are all imigrants(well except dave he is native) that live on what they harvest from the bush and only purchase the basics from the store, awesome , man just awseome and inspiring and fortunate for me to learn and to pass on to younger generations
