Somewhat surprising they both made it considering the water temperatures....

:cold::cold::cold::cold::cold:I used to swim in water close to that temperature (Straights of Juan De Fuca). Longest I spent in the water without a wetsuit was about ten minutes. Brrrrrrrrrrr.

That is water so cold it hurts just dipping your feet in it.

I wonder if these guys were obese? This would insulate their vital organs. Otherwise, I might think the majority of people would die in water temps that low.
