Hi guys and gals. I've been lurking out here for a couple months now and finally decided to take the plunge and register so I could ask a few questions on some topics that interest me like wild foods in this area that I live in. Not really familiar with local plants and habitats and want to learn my new enviroment better to help me and mine survive if push comes to shove. I've only recently arrived here coming from Phoenix before this and learned the only way to survive there was to get away. :) I am ex military and learned most of my survival training from them as well as my expierences in the boy scouts growing up and camping etc.. Seems like theres a wealth of knowledge here just waiting to be tapped.
