Buriti Palm

Has anyone here heard of the buriti palm and how to harvest & use it with minimal tools? I saw some sites about it, but nothing mentioned how to harvest the pulp and how to extract the oil.

Buriti palm is native to Amazon area and some areas in Brazil.

Anyone?

I looked at the database and did not see it on there, and I also searched the site for 'buriti'.
