I posted a few days ago and was asked to come here and do a little intro so here I am.
I'm 21 and grew up camping and hunting in AZ. I enlisted in the USMC at 20 and haven't been able to do any of either since I enlisted. Not wanting a job that put me behind a desk I went for the infantry and became an 0311. I'm currently stationed in Washington, D.C (an infantrymans worst nightmare) and still dont get to do much outdoors considering where I am. Well I figured sooner or later I would end up doing my real job in the Marines and thought learning survival skills could only help me in the long run. So here I am reading everything I can. Thanks ahead of time for any replys to later posts.
