Not bad, I have everything I need already from all my camping I do but I did like the flashlight you wind up to charge the battery

I have a wind up flashlight in my car. It is LED and is alright in a pinch.

I had one of those little LED lights that you shake to charge. It worked for about 3 months and then just quit. Good idea, bad execution.

I have a hard time believing that the wind-up lights will prove to be much sturdier.

yeah, me too. You shake it for 2 hours and got 10 seconds of fading light.

I built my own LED flashlight from a 9v battery, 2 white LEDs, and an altoids tin. I love it. I added 2nd generation glow in the dark powder to the case so I can find it at night. The GID powder works great. For the first 5 minutes you could just about read from the GID powder.
