Alright well.. My name isn't Talon. It's Tommy, but that was taken, and Talon is my nephew's name so it fit.
I'm 22 years old I lived in Northwestern Oklahoma for the first 20 years of my life then moved to Northport Florida with my girlfriend before coming back to Oklahoma where i'm currently living in OKC.
When I was 21 I attempted to join The Marine Corps, but due to some trouble I got into when I was younger I was denied entry. Actually.. I wasn't I was enlisted, made it through MEPS, and it was 2 days before I shipped to MCRDSD that I was told I was denied. This was all just earlier this year in February so I'm still actively trying to join the USMC. If I finally give up on that I can see myself likely to join the Army as I know for certain that they will approve me for enlistment. (already checked it out as an option, but I have my mind set on the Marines)
I am in college at OSU studying to be a mechanical engineer. I've always enjoyed building things and my latest engineering project is a gravitram. I have a 1997 single cab short box S-10 with a 5.3l EFI and a 4l60E drivetrain. I use to have a 355 and a 400 turbo in it. With the 355 the S-10 ran a 12.142 quarter mile at Great Bend Kansas with a 40 degree track temp. I had no traction and literally spun tire 3/4 the way down the track. It would have ran low 11's on a good day. I have yet to take it to the track with the 5.3 I'm still working out bugs in the wiring and probably wont have it track ready until 2010.
