Miniature figure 4

After watching "Survivorman" a few too many times this is what happens on a cold winter day when I was bored. Here's a few pics of a miniature figure four dead-fall trap made in my living room with the strange intention of catching field mice. (as mentioned in my introduction post. I live in the country, and these little buggers always find a way in.) I reset the trap on better contrasting carpet, and used a cardboard "sterile" background to help see it better. Hope you all like.

Heh! Looks like a good recipe for mouse pancakes. :D I like it! I used to do that kind of stuff too, when I was a kid. Never caught anything, I was more interested in the leverage and balance involved. The strangest things catch your attention when you are six years old and just spend all your time outdoors... oh the memories... Starting fires, fishing with a pole, kite string, hook and sinker. Making deadfall traps just to see if I could. Swiping Dad's jackknife so I could sharpen sticks...I was a hellion!! No wonder Mom was gray by 35!!!
