A friend was telling me about some manmade substance thats white and super flammable even stays lit in water,Anybody heard of this stuff?

It might be but its selling under a name[something] fire.Not instant fire but similar.
Wet fire tinder? Someone on here sells it. Who was that? No, don't tell me. Let me think.

Wetfire works great as long as the packaging stays intact. I had some get little pin hole abrasions and after a while it wouldn't lite. If you open one, don't be shy about using it up as it won't keep long term once opened. Mac

Yes, if you shave a little off of the cube a spark will light the shavings.
