Hi there,
I'm new member but long time reader of this forum. Joined to get a little more involved in the discussion here and ask some questions as well. I don't have a lot of experience as far as survival is concerned, but have done a lot of camping and hiking, and I generally love spending time outdoors.

I've spent a lot of time in the midwest and Colorado, but currently live in California and am exploring the High Sierra's piece by piece and would love to talk to anyone who has spent any time in the Sierra's.

The Sierra's are awesome, great rivers, grand mountains...too bad there in Cali though. LOL ...welcome to the forum

Haha, yeah, I can echo that sentiment. But, California is where my college is so I will make the best of it :) Year round 70+ weather can't be all that bad right?
