Hello All,

My name is Richard Styrsky and I live in northern CA. I have always been into bushcraft, self sufficiency, fishing, foraging, etc. I currently spend my free time spearfishing and learning about coastal survival techniques. I have not been fortunate enough to attend any of the great courses out there. I am interested in meeting up with some like minded folks to share knowledge and do some experiental camping. I am not a big nature spirit type (I respect you all the same)and am not looking for that. I am looking for tried and true methodology free of arrogance and hype.:pirate

Regards,
Richard Styrsky (Styric)

Welcome home. Experiential camping?

I call it that because one can go camping and drink a bunch of beer and sit around a fire but I like to go and experience nature. Experience is relative of course. I like to go and test my skill. Wether it be climbing, fishing, tracking, wildlife observation, foraging, primative skill building, etc. I like to go home at the end having learned something from my time spent in the wild. So i label it Experiential Camping.
