hello all, wanted to say hi. i enjoy the useful info posted here. i spent 10+ years in search and rescue. 4+ years in law enforcement. and a year in federal prison (long story) (misdemeanor). survival is something anyone can find themselves striving to achieve. i've been an avid hunter and fisherman my whole life. i hope to gleen what knowledge i can and pass it to my boys someday.

talking about it means telling info that when google'd would be the same as telling you where i live and my ss#. please forgive me for keeping it to myself. (when asking that question it's better received if you say "what did they convict you of" ) i went to prison for not testifying against another officer. those that did walked away. if i wasn't against him, i had to be at fault also. so they said.....
