Ontario Knives SP-8

I have been looking at Ontario Knife Companies SP-8 on the internet at different websites, and today I found them for $45.66. I had to order one because that was to good of a deal to pass up.

I am in the market for a "camp knife" somewhat along these lines. Because I need/want it to double as a fighter I am concerned becaues this knife doesn't have a conventional point. Am I being picky or what? Any thoughts?

You will get more use out of a camp knife than a fighter, If you get into a place that you have to fight with a knife, Something has gone very wrong. And the camp knife will in that situation will do the job.

I found the SP-8 at http://buyMilSpec.com. They have a good assortment of knives but this is the only place that had a good deal on the SP-8. I hope you find what you are looking for.
