Slightly political as there is a petition circulating about this, but interesting news to those of us that like to spend time in the woods...

Sad, but they gotta do something to get money. Sure does not put the BSA in a positive light.

As with any story, there are usually two sides to it. It is difficult to find the "other" side (not suprising to me). Do you think that the fact that much of their public financing has been removed due to things we do not discuss here has had an impact on their decision to try and stay afloat?

I was a logger for 8 years so I can't judge them for that. It's their land and lumber is big business.

lol. Probably. Guess they should realize that times change, and you either adapt or become extinct. Looks like a slow painful passing into the latter.
