Doug, Your last sentence Say's what I was going to say. It is -7* F Below here today but I still went for a hike, with no gear.

You are going to find you are either a gear'head or an outdoorsman. Am I trying to make you mad, Yep.......you are squandering your days in Alaska waiting for warmer weather.

Did you notice on the other forum, that men are out hunting at -55* F Below, and running trap-lines at -60* F Below, and snowshoeing, and snow machining everyday.

You have very pretty stuff, I wish you lived next door so I could borrow it...:)

You not make me mad buddy. I hear ya. I need to get out I'm getting cabin fever. Those guys are tough. I think I need to hook up with someone and just get out there, either camping hunting whatever. You are 100% correct I'm tired of planning, wishing and hoping I want to do it already.

Hey there doug1980, I noticed your folding saw in your photo. I ordered me one off of ebay today. I have never owned one so I am kinda looking forward to it.

They're real sharp, and if you're not careful you might take 9 stitches across your index finger knuckle on your left hand..........I'm just saying......

I have a Fiskars folding saw. It feels sharp. Seems pretty solid too.
