Crush and waterproof backpack containers

I carry a metal army cup with me when I go backpacking. Anything I don't want crushed goes inside.

Why do you need a crush proof container for ammo and maps?

Yea, I guess there's not a whole lot of things that need to be crushproof, and a lot that need waterproof, other than the waterproof container that needs to be crushproof.
