Headin up there on thursday for a little relaxation, was wondering if anyone is familiar with the area. I would like to do a little fishing if possible but not sure where to go. I'll be staying at "Above the Rest" cabins and would like to find something close to that if possible. Thanks guys

I've never been there, but looking at a topo map of the area you've got Hepmtown Creek to the south while there is Cutcane Creek and Long Creek to the north and west. Maybe FVR is familiar with the area.

I've been up to Blue Ridge, GA three times. Twice I stayed at a friend's cabin that is located on Jack's River. They say you can fish it, although where we were staying, it wasn't a good spot. The other time I went horseback riding with some friends, but that was between Blue Ridge and McCaysville, GA. Good luck, and give a report when you get back!

I don't know enough about Blue Ridge to give any info. I do know that the App. Trail starts up thar.
