I just moved and I'm looking for options to augment my heating. A friend recommended an EdenPure infrared heater for my kitchen/living room area.
Has any of you ever used a heater of this type? Thanks!

I have not used them, but the place where I work has a company come in about every 6 weeks that sets up and sells them in the store, this compay is called Comfort Living, and people some in and buy them like cray when they come in,some of them are very pleased witht he purchase, others are not, which causes problems at work, since they "bought" them at the store, they expect us to make good on them, but we do not sell them,so the only recourse we can give them,is to direct them to the companies website or phone number to get their money back.
From what I have seen so far,it's about 50-50 on who is pleased with the infra red and who is not.

My friend just got his last week. So-far-so-good. As I understand it heats the moisture in the air, and it works best to maintain a rooms temperature. Once the room is around 65-68 degrees it will hold it there for a fare while. I can pick up a unit for around $385 and cost of operation is about $1.00 a day.
