Hans is in!

3 time Yukon Quest champion Hans Gatt has signed up for the next Quest - battle of the titans! He used to be the undisputed champ, winning it 3 times in a row, until Lance Mackey showed him how to do it proper.
Now I don't know how to cheer for. Lance is such a great musher, but I know Hans and he's good and a nice guy. Tough decisions, tough decisions...

That is going to be a great race this year. I think more teams than ever are signed up for the Quest this time around. Martin Buser (4 time Iditarod champ) is a sure favorite. Mackey is of course tough to beat, and Gatt is the poster boy for the Quest- last year he had his best iditarod performance to date, showing that he has an awesome team and great training regimine. He knows the Quest inside and out, and this may be his chance to show 'em who is boss.

Other ones to look out for are Sebastian Schnulle, and Hugh Neff, both are up and comers looking for big wins!

Ohh Ohh, also Wayne Hall from Eagle, AK is signed up again. He has the undisputed toughest team of Huskies along the Yukon, and if it gets bitter cold, with lots of fresh snow and unbroken trail he may be the team to beat.

I met him in Eagle several years ago, and he is a really inspirational guy... a full time Bush dweller and trapper.
